It
is a testimony of Universal Love that we
have diverse views about the Ultimate
Mystery. What could have happened to us if
only one view survived? Inquisition, suicide
bombs, rape, infanticide, slavery, lynching,
racism, nationalism and colonization would
be on a smaller scale as compared to what
would have happened if a single religious or
cultural belief survived.
At one point in our history many
cultures claimed to have the Ultimate
Mystery on their side and took it upon
themselves to wipe out other cultures with
different views from the face of the earth.
Later our attitude was to force our
religious beliefs on other cultures still in
a show of power and supremacy. Currently we
understand the different beliefs but we
still think we have the real thing and with
this attitude we go to other cultures and
declare our supremacy above all Gods and
even above our common spiritual heritage,
UNIVERSAL LOVE. We refuse to acknowledge the
fact that we all share the same universal
spiritual presence and our Gods have nothing
to do with it!
There
are seventeen books in the unity publication
